New Use for Common Drug
A study from Emory University suggests that a drug (Rapamycin) commonly given to transplant patients may be able to enhance the power of vaccines. They tested it on mice and found it kicked up the Immune System response to experimental vaccines.
Well first let me state that vaccines on specific occasions are necessary. The 'carpet bombing' technique of Big Pharma in the using vaccines for everyone all the time is just for profit only. So the idea of using a current drug to enhance the vaccine action may be a good thing. There is a dark side, of course.
The drugs they use for transplant patients holds back the Immune System so the body won't reject the foreign organ. I doubt very much this new application of a common anti-rejection drug is the silver bullet they are making it sound to be. Vaccines are not natural and your body knows the difference.
Yes, they can give you all the scientific 'gobely gook' they want, it's still a guess at best and another way for them to make lots of money. And we all know what happens when anyone starts fixating on fortunes.
